MVDC Digital Archive Honor Roll Dancers |
In 1974, at the Buckeye Dance Convention in Cleveland, "an "honor roll" of dancers was established to recognize the efforts of dancers in promoting and furthering the square dance movement in Ohio. . . . One couple was chosen from each Council to represent them." The Miami Valley Dance Council participated and began honoring dancers who contributed significantly to the regional dance activity. Below are the dancers who have been nominated and honored by their clubs and the Council. Also included are various archive files about the Honor Roll Dancer award.
